Bhubaneswar, Aug 24: As an initiative taken by the ministry of New and Renewable Energy to set up a National Institute of New Energy and Innovation (NINEI) complex in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wrote a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding this on Tuesday.
In his letter he stated that 73.680 acres of land has been allocated by the Odisha government free of cost, to build up the NINEI complex as one of the several initiatives taken in accordance with the National Development Goals for Renewable Energy.
He also mentioned that all required support for this project would be provided by the State government and also requested the Prime Minister for early construction of the Institute by providing funds so that the institute can start its functions as soon as possible.
