Bhubaneswar, Feb 4: With an aim to make people aware of government’s various schemes and programmes and their rights, State Chief Minister’s Office today joined the social media site Facebook.
People can share their ideas and opinions on various subjects with the CMO on www.facebook.com/cmo.odisha
CMO’s joining on social media platform is expected to make the administration more transparent and accountable.
In another development, the State government has made available the data related to financial assistance provided from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) on CMO’s twitter page twitter.com/cmo_odisha
All the data about financial assistance amount provided to beneficiaries for medical treatment is being uploaded on Twitter page after approval of the Chief Minister.
The detailed information about the beneficiaries from the CMRF are also available on the page.
