Bhubaneswar: April 26: Top leaders of Congress started coming to Odisha to hold rallies, road shows and meetings in favour of their candidates in different constituencies going for Poll on April 29.
On Thursday, Raj Babbar addressed few meetings in Bhadrak Lok Sabha constituency.
Addressing the voters, he said that, BJP and BJD have entered into ‘match-fixing’ in Odisha, which can ensure another term for the State Government.
He claimed that, BJD and BJP are misleading the people of the state by playing a friendly match, but pretending animosity.
Targeting PM Modi, UP Congress President said, ‘During 2014 Election, BJP had promised to give special category status to Odisha, but the Party did not do so’.
Speaking on BJD government in Odisha, Raj Babber said, atrocities against women, dalits, tribals and weaker sections has gone up in the state.
He appealed people to throw Narendra Modi and Naveen Patnaik out of power and elect Congress-led governments for all round development.
The campaigning is in full swing for the fourth and final phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha. Six Lok Sabha constituencies Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur, and 41 Assembly seats falling under them, will go to the polls in the fourth phase on April 29.
