Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: In connection to the much hyped murder of the engineering student Ashutosh Mohanty aka Rishi, the Twin City Commissionerate police have received the Viscera report. This was informed by the Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi today. He stated that the content is being examined by the investigating officer and after thorough examination, the cops will be able to get the final opinion of doctor regarding the exact cause of death on the basis of Viscera and post mortem reports. He refused to disclose the content of the report to the media. Till now, around eight friends of Rishi have been questioned by the cops over the murder.
On Dec 18, late Rishi’s mother Pritirani Mohanty filed a fresh complaint with the Khandagiri police, thus urgently requesting to speed up investigation into her son’s mysterious death and also asked the cops to involve the deceased’s friends, roommates and his so called girlfriend into the investigation. On the other side, the opposition parties have been demanding City Mayor, Ananta Narayan Jena’s arrest for having alleged link in Rishi’s murder.
