Bhubaneswar: August 05: With 1342 fresh Covid Positive cases recorded in last 24 hours, Odisha’s total caseload increased to 9,83,523. On the other side, 1630 patients recovered yesterday and total number of recovered cases number reached 9,63,718.
Health Department has informed about 68 new deaths happened due to Covid-19 and with this, total death toll grew to 6236. As stated by H & FW Department, these deaths are not of a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
Active cases number reduced further to 13,516.
66,146 samples have been tested yesterday and the daily positivity rate remains at 2,02.
