Rayagada: Apil 07: Naveen Patnaik attended road shows and public meetings in Rayagada constituency and attacked centre for centre’s negligence towards Odisha. Also, BJD Supremo criticised the central leaders as ‘Biradi Baishnab’.
Naveen participated in a road show at Gunupur. Addressing a public meeting here, he said, ‘We have AAHAR scheme, for which centre refused to fund’.. Also, he spoke about scheme like Rs.1 per kg of rice and how centre refused to give rice to 30 lakh people.
Speaking on Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, BJD Supremo said, women are getting Rs.7 lakh worth health benefits under the scheme.In case of drinking water, centre is giving Rs.1000 crore whereas State is giving Rs.12,000 cr. For irrigation, Centre is giving only Rs.250 cr and State is giving Rs.20,000 cr.
He said, ‘4.5 crore Odiya people are my family. I hope you bless me and BJD by casting your vote on the conch shell symbol.’
