Ranji Trophy Group B Match between Odisha and Maharashtra initiated today at the Krishnagiri Stadium at Wayanad.
Maharashtra won the toss and chose to field. The Odisha team on the first day at stumps has managed to score a 311 loosing 9 wickets in 82.1 overs. Abhishek Yadav scored 32 in 57 balls where Ranjit Singh made a 26 in 70. After Captain Poddar got bowled out for a duck Biplab Samantray’s 89 and Behera’s 58 helped Odisha to reach 311.
Maharashtrian Bowler Sanklecha’s performance got him 4 wickets in hand today while Sayyed managed to take 3 and Tripathi and Khurana with 1 each.
Basant Mohanty and Dhiraj Singh will resume the match from tomorrow.
