Bhubaneswar, Dec 20: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed his officials on Saturday to effect the necessary reforms for ease of doing Business in State and implement e-Biz and Continued Inspection Framework by February 17 next year.
e-Biz aims to facilitate important approvals for start-ups online and stipulates inspection of all concerned departments simultaneously on a single day and submit the report within 48 hours online, officials said.
Notably, State ranks seventh in the country in regard to east of doing business and efforts are being made by the State Government to take it to the top three in the llist.
The formulation of Industrial Policy Resolution – 2015 by the State Government is expected to boost the economic climate of the state.
The Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has remained above the national average and manufacturing sector that contributes around 9 pc to state GDP would further rise to 15 pc by 2019, with the proposed 1.73 lakh crore worth of investment coming to the state.
By 2022, the State target to reach it to 22 pc besides creating around 3.3 lakh direct and indirect employment in State.
