Odisha Gears Up To Host ‘Odisha Open 2022’ From Jan 25
Odisha Open Super 100 will start at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack, on Tuesday. This is the first-ever International Badminton Tournament, recognized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), to be held in Odisha.
About 350 players from 17 countries are participating in this tournament.
The preparations for this tournament have already been and players had their practice sessions at Cuttack on Monday.

State’s Sports and Youth Services department, Badminton Association of India and Odisha State Badminton Association, are organising this International Badminton Tournament.
No spectators will be allowed to enter the stadium as per Covid Guidelines.
According to the officials, the matches would be played in five categories, i.e. men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
