Bhubaneswar, Jan 4: In a relief to contractual teachers, State government has allocated Rs 70 crore towards payment of their salary dues.
This will facilitate contractual teachers appointed in June 2015 will be given the pending dues on priority basis.
The District Education Officers have been authorised to make the arrear salary payments to contractual teachers within a week of receipt of the fund from the department.
The process will be completed byJanuary 15.
