Bhubaneswar: Students’ union poll across Odisha notification will be made by the State government today.
According to the notification by the higher education department, the college union elections are scheduled on October 14.
The polls at the colleges will be held between 8.00 am and 2.00 pm. The results will be announced on the same day.
For the elections, the candidates can file nomination papers on Oct 5. The nominations can be withdrawn on Oct 6. ‘Why I Stand for Meeting’ will be conducted on October 13.
Notably, the polls at Utkal University have been cancelled due to ongoing tension at the campus. Similarly, the elections at Puri SCS College have also been cancelled.
