Odisha keen on attracting investors to Odisha, says Minister

Bhubaneswar, April 9: The State government is keen to attract investors to Odisha, said Industry and School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra in Abu Dhabi on Friday.  

 A delegation led by Mishra and Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Odisha Chapter president Sanjay Patnaik is on a visit to Abu Dhabi. According to official sources, Mishra will hold discussions with Singapore Innovation Science and Development Execution Minister about the possibility of attracting investment in Odisha in fields of science, information and technology and education. Later, he is scheduled to attend a luncheon, to be hosted by the royal family of Abu Dhabi. 

He is also scheduled to attend a programme titled ‘Investors Entrepreneur Meet-Destination Dubai’ by Chapter of Chartered Accountants at India Club where he will discuss opportunities and possibilities of investment in Odisha.

 Mishra along with Bhubaneswar MLA Priyadarsi Mishra will also attend a special programme, which is to be organised on former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik’s birth centenary and completion of 80 years of Odisha’s formation, sources said.
