Bhubaneswar: June 2: Odisha State Police appointed Weightlifter Katulu Ravi Kumar as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) on Thursday. Chief Minister approved his appointment. He is the first Sports Person to be appointed in Group-A category. Kumar is from Berhampur, Odisha and had won a gold medal in the Men’s 69 kg at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
