Bhubaneswar: August 8: Odisha witnessed 13.4 percent growth in fresh Covid Positive Cases today. As informed by Information & Public Relations Department, 1243 new cases were found in last 24 hours whereas it was 1096 yesterday.
Also, 1525 patients recovered from the disease yesterday, informed Health Department.
With this, total cases in Odisha since the beginning of the pandemic, increased to 9,87,070 and out of that, 9,68, 453 people have recovered from the infection.
Today, 12,129 active cases are there in the State.
