Odisha registers 79 more COVID-19 cases; Total number of cases reach 1517

Bhuabneswar: May 26: 79 more COVID-19 cases were found in Odisha. Total number of confirmed cases in the State has increased to 1517.

Out of 79 cases detected, 5 are from Ganjam District, 2 from Jajpur, 4 from Balasore, 4 from Khurda, 4 from Puri, 16 from Cuttack, 6 from Kendrapara, 3 from Nayagarh, 14 from Bolangir, 1 from Angul, 8 from Keonjhar, 7 from Kandhamal, 3 from Dhenkanal, 1 from Jharsuguda and 1 from Sonepur district.

In fact, this is first case of Sonepur.

As per the information provided in the Web Site of Health Department, out of 79 cases, 71 cases were found from Quarantine centers and rest 8 are local cases.
