Bhubaneswar: May 10: Odisha reported 10,031 fresh Covid Positive cases. Of this, 6623 are quarantine cases and rest 3408 are local contact cases.
On 6th May, Odisha had reported 10521 cases. That is the first time, it has crossed 10 K daily cases. Next day i.e. on 7th May, it had crossed 12 K (12,238). But, after that, it is declining. As reported, it was 11,807 on 8th, 10,635 on 9th and 10,031 on 10th May.
Khurda District recorded 1329 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Sundergarh (824), Cuttack (720), Puri (708), Angul (456), Bargarh (450), Kalahandi (433), Jharsuguda (418), Jajpur (328), Nuapada (311), Nawarangpur (306), Sambalpur (302), Bolangir (274), Nayagarh (269), Bhadrak (248), Dhenkanal (244), Kendrapara (243), Balasore (230), Ganjam (209), Mayurbhanj (207), Boudh (183), Sonepur (169), Keonjhar (166), Koraput (142), Rayagada (132), Deogarh (118), Jagatsinghpur (115), Gajapati (89), Kandhamal (75), Malkangiri (62) and 271 cases from State Pool.
8,541 persons recovered yesterday and with this, total recoveries reached 4,47,863. At present, 94,760 cases are under treatment.
