Bhubaneswar: October 06: Odisha reported 2,673 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours. Out of which, 1,554 people were in quarantine and rest 1,119 are local contact cases.
According to I & PR Department, Khurda district registered 448 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 214 cases, Nuapada 159 cases, Kendrapara 151 cases, Angul 126 cases, Puri 124 cases, Mayurbhanj 100 cases, Bhadrak 97 cases, Bolangir 93 cases, Sundergarh & Jajpur 88 cases each, Kalahandi 77 cases, Sambalpur 73 cases, Nabarangpur 72 cases, Balasore 70 cases, Sonepur 69 cases, Jharsuguda, Jagatsiinghpur & Bargarh 68 cases each, Keonjhar 51 cases, Gajapati & Kandhamal 44 cases each, Koraput 39 cases, Dhenkanal 36 cases, Nayagarh 35 cases, Malkangiri 32 cases, Deogarh 18 cases, Boudh 13 cases, Gajapati & Rayagada 11 cases each and 86 cases from State Pool.
With 2,673 new cases, State’s total tally increased to 2,38,003.
As per Health Department’s information, 16 patients have died in last 24 hours due to the Pandemic. With this, total death toll in Odisha increased to 940.
So far, 2,06,400 patients have recovered from the disease and at present, 30, 610 cases are active.
