Odisha Reports 286 Covid-19 Cases
Odisha reported 286 fresh Covid Cases during 24 hours. Yesterday, it was 195 cases. Out of 286 new cases, 40 are under 18 years’ of age. Also, as Informed by I & PR Department, 168 people were in quarantine and rest 118 are local contact cases. Total cases in the state (sine the beginning of the pandemic) reached 10,51,241 including 286 fresh cases.
In the same time period, 217 people have recovered from the disease and with this, total recoveries increased to 10,40,620. Current active caseload stands at 2,137.
Odisha registered 3 deaths in 24 hours. Total death toll increased to 8,431.
Khurda District Reported 147 cases, which is more than 50 percent of total daily cases. Besides Khurda, Mayurbhanj registered 21 cases, Cuttack 17 cases and Sundergarh 15 cases. 12 districts reported cases in single digits and 14 districts of state do not have new cases in last 24 hours.
58,816 tests have been done during 24 hours and daily positivity rate remains at 0.48 percent.
