Bhubaneswar: October 07: Odisha registered 2,995 new Corona Positive Patients in last 24 hours. Of which, 1,737 people were in quarantine and rest 1,258 cases are from local contacts. With 2,995 cases, Odisha’s total tally increased to 2,40,998.
According to I & PR Department, Khurda District reported 568 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 166 cases, Puri 145 cases, Angul 142 cases, Sambalpur 138 cases, Kendrapara 135 cases, Balasore 121 cases, Sundergarh 101 cases, Bolangir 94 cases, Bargarh 93 cases, Mayurbhanj 92 cases, Jajpur 90 cases, Sonpur 87 cases, Malkangiri 82 cases, Nuapada 74 cases, Dhenkanal 68 cases, Nabarangpur 67 cases, Jharsuguda 64 cases, Kalahandi 63 cases, Jagatsinghpur 62 cases, Keonjhar 61 cases,Ganjam 47 cases, Nayagarh 44 cases, Kandhamal & Koraput 43 cases each, Boudh 31 cases, Bhadrak 28 cases, Deogarh 20 cases, Rayagada 17 cases, Gajapati 7 cases and 202 cases from State Pool.
Total recovered cases in the State stand at 2,10,217.
In last 24 hours, 18 patients succumbed to the disease and total death toll in the State increased to 958.
At present, 29,770 cases are active in the State.
