Bhubaneswar: September 29: Odisha reported 3,067 new cases in last 24 hours and with this, total cases in the State increased to 2,15,676. Out of 3,067 new cases, 1,809 people were in quarantine and 1,258.
According to the data of Health & Family Welfare Department, Khurda District recorded 555 cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 230 cases, Puri 178 cases, Balasore 146 cases, Mayurbhanj 143 cases, Angul 129 cases, Sambalpur 98 cases, Jharsuguda 96 cases, Kendrapara 94 cases, Dhenkanal 91 cases, Nuapada 85 cases, Jagatsinghpur 84 cases, Kandhamal & Keonjhar 81 cases each, Bolangir 78 cases, Bargarh 69 cases, Nayagarh 68 cases, Sundergarh 62 cases, Jajpur 60 cases, Bhadrak 59 cases, Nabarangpur 58 cases, Koraput 55 cases, Kalahandi 54 cases, Boudh 45 cases, Rayagada 41 cases, Ganjam 34 cases, Malkangiri 24 cases, Sonepur 22 cases, Gajapati 21 cases, Deogarh 15 cases and also 211 cases from State Pool.
15 patients died due to COVID-19 in last 24 hours and total death toll in the State reached 828.
Odisha registered 1,77,585 recoveries so far and at present, 37,210 cases are active in State.
