Odisha reported 316 new Covid-19 cases, pushing State’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 10,41,773. During last 24 hours, 450 patients recovered from the disease and with this, total recoveries so far reached 10,29,147.
Of 316 cases, 51 are under 0-18 years’ of age. 186 people were in quarantine and 130 are local contact cases.
Current active caseload stands at 4237. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 0.49 percent. As informed, 63,651 samples have been tested during last 24 hours.
As informed by Health & Family Welfare Department, 3 more persons succumbed to the disease and overall death toll in the State reached 8336.
Khurda District continues to report highest number of cases. Today, it has reported 152 new cases, followed by Cuttack (32), Mayurbhanj (28), Balangir (10) and 35 cases from State Pool.
18 districts reported cases in single digits and 8 districts do not have new cases during last 24 hours.
