In Odisha, Covid-19 cases have started growing very fast. As reported by I & PR Department, State has registered 680 fresh Covid-19 cases on 3rd January. Out of that, 119 cases are under 18-years old.
Of 680 cases detected, 397 people were in quarantine and 283 cases are from local contacts.
Khurda District continues to report highest cases (263), followed by Sundargarh (69), Cuttack (59), Sambalpur (42), Balasore (34), Jharsuguda (25), Puri (15), Bargarh (14), Nawarangpur (13), Ganjam (12) and 61 cases from State Pool.
Yesterday,146 patients recovered from the disease.
With 680 fresh cases, Odisha’s Covid tally (since the beginning of the pandemic) increased to 10,56,660. Out of that, 10,45,225 patients have recovered from the disease. Active Caseload is seen growing fast and currently, it is 2888.
