Bhubaneswar: July 19: Odisha registered 736 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. With this, total number of confirmed positive cases in Odisha increased to 17,437.
As per the information provided in the Web Site of Health & Family Welfare Department, out of 736 cases, 481 were in Quarantine and rest are local contact cases.
Highest 247 cases have been detected from Ganjam District, followed by 107 from Khurda, 45 from Koraput, 40 each from Jajpur & Jagatsinghpur, 39 from Gajapati, 33 from Balasore, 27 from Cuttack, 25 from Sambalpur, 22 from Angul, 18 from Malkangiri, 17 from Sundergarh, 14 from Puri, 12 from Mayurbhanj, 10 from Nayagarh, 8 each from Boudh & Rayagada, 7 from Kendrapara, 5 from Bhadrak, 4 from Bolangir, 3 from Bargarh, 2 from Kalahandi and one each from Nabarangpur, Keonjhar & Dhenkanal.
Also, as informed in the site of Health Department, 3 lakh 86 thousands 102 samples have been tested so far.
