Odisha reported 4,843 fresh Covid-19 cases in 24 hours, pushing State’s total to 12,45,911, informed Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department.
Of 4843 new cases, 663 are under the age group of 0-18 years’. As reported, 2815 people were in quarantine and found to be positive and rest 2028 cases are from local contacts.
Khurda District continues to report highest daily cases (1023), followed by Sundergarh (735) and Cuttack (379).

10,267 patients recovered from the disease yesterday. With this, total recoveries reached 11,84,174.
Active Caseload stands at 53,090.
19 people succumbed to the disease in last 24 hours and total death toll increased to 8594.
