Odisha reports 170 Covid-19 New Cases; No cases in10 Districts

Bhubaneswar: August 13: Odisha registered 1981 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours,taking the total number of cases to 52,653. Out of 1981 new cases, 1225 persons were in Quarantine and rest 756 are Local Contact cases, informed Health & Family Welfare Department.

In 24 hours, Khurda District reported 274 cases, followed by Ganjam 267 cases, Kandhamal 179 cases, Sundergarh 145 casses, Cuttack 131 cases, Koraput 97 cases, Puri 77 cases, Bhadrak 65 cases, Malkangiri 64 cases, Jajpur 60 cases, Balasore 59 cases, Sonepur 57 cases, Nayagarh 56 cases, Rayagada 55 cases, Jagatsinghpur 42 cases, Dhenkanal & Kalahandi 39 cases each, Sambalpur 38 cases, Mayurbhanj 37 cases, Kendrapara 29 cases, Bargarh & Balangir 27 cases each, Keonjhar 23 cases, Boudh 22 cases, Nawarangpur 18 cases, Nuapada & Deogarh 16 cases each, Gajapati & Jharsuguda 8 cases each and Angul 6 cases.

Out of total 52,653 cases so far, 36,479 patients have already recovered from the disease and 15, 807 people are under treatment.

In last 24 hours, 9 persons succumbed to the disease. With this, death toll in the State increased to 314.
