Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 to boost tourism from Feb 24

BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha government is set to host the sixth edition of the ‘Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025’ from February 24 to 27 in Bhubaneswar, aiming to position the state as a top-tier global tourist destination.
Organised in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the event will bring together leading domestic and international travel operators to explore Odisha’s diverse tourism potential.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, while addressing the media on Saturday, highlighted the state’s tourism offerings, including eco-tourism, adventure tourism, serene beaches, and Odisha’s rich cultural heritage.
The event, set to take place at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium, will host around 100 tour operators from over 30 Indian cities, along with more than 30 international tour operators from 17 countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore.
As part of the programme, visiting delegates will embark on curated tours to key tourist hotspots such as Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, and the Puri-Konark region, offering them firsthand experiences of Odisha’s unique attractions.
Tourism Secretary Balwant Singh elaborated on the state’s tourism policy and outlined strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the sector. He emphasized Odisha’s growing recognition as a preferred destination for travellers seeking immersive and authentic experiences.
With its unparalleled natural beauty, historical legacy, and diverse cultural landscape, Odisha is making significant strides in the global tourism map. The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is expected to further elevate the state’s visibility, fostering new collaborations and investment opportunities in the tourism sector.
