Balasore, May 8: Today the vigilance officials raided the office and houses of Umarani Maity, Senior Steno of R&B Circle under Public Works department at Gopalgaon for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known source of income. Raids were conducted simultaneously at Maity’s office, ancestral house at Gopalgaon and in-laws’ house at Radhakantpur. During the raid, her bank accounts, fixed deposits, vehicles and jewelries have been seized.
