Bhubaneswar, Oct 8: On the completion of 100 years of formation of the state of Odisha, the State government will make the Draft Vision Document for 2036 within three months named ‘Odisha at 100’. This was informed by officials on Friday. Created on the basis of languages on April 1, 1936, Odisha was the first country in this category.
For this a high level meeting was held on Friday to take a stock on the progress of the preparation.
The vision documents must contain the realistic assessment of the state’s needs in the future and service delivery at ground level and all the departments have been advised to formulate planning plans for vision 2036 for further discussion, informed Aditya Prasad Padhi, the Chief Secretary.
Odisha Skill Development Authority Chairman, Subrato Bagchi detailed about the various attributes for developing the document. R. Balakrishnan, Development Commissioner accentuated that to shape the future of Odisha this should work as a powerful tool.
Some suggestion regarding goals presented at the meet were that of inclusive growth, social justice, shared prosperity, equitable distribution of developmental outcome, as stated in a release.
