Odisha Witnesses Massive Growth Of Covid Cases In A Week
1619 Cases from Khurda District in 24 hours
Odisha registered 4714 new covid positive cases in 24 hours. Yesterday it was 3679. Almost 1000 more cases extra in a day. With this, total cases in the State (since the beginning of the pandemic) increased to 10,70,869. Out of which, 10,46,231 people have recovered from the disease, which includes 260 new recoveries.
Of 4714 new cases, 416 cases under 18 years’ of age. Active caseload has been growing constantly and today, it is 16,117.

Angul: 22, Balasore: 123, Bargarh: 56, Bhadrak: 7, Balangir: 99, Boudh: 6, Cuttack: 360, Deogarh: 36, Dhenkanal: 9, Gajapati: 32, Ganjam: 70, Jagatsinghpur: 63, Jajpur: 83, Jharsuguda: 154, Kalahandi: 15, Kandhamal: 13, Kendrapada: 10, Keonjhar: 43, Khurda: 1619, Koraput: 65, Malkangiri: 3, Mayurbhanj: 113, Nawarangpur: 37, Nayagarh: 34, Nuapada: 32, Puri: 119, Rayagada: 31, Sambalpur: 437, Sonepur: 46, Sundargarh: 662, State Pool: 315
Khurda, Sundargarh and Sambalpur District reported 1619, 662 and 437 fresh cases respectively.
