Bhubaneswar: September 02: Odisha registered 3219 fresh Corona Positive cases in last 24 hours and the total tally increased to 1,09,780.
Out of 3219 cases, 1288 are local contact cases and rest 1931 people were in quarantine.
According to Health & Family Welfare Department, Khurda District has reported 731 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack (400), Puri (217), Balasore (194), Bargarh (185), Ganjam (169), Mayurbhanj (137), Jajpur (117), Keonjhar (102), Koraput (90), Bhadrak (87), Sambalpur (78), Angul (66), Nayagarh (62),Jharsuguda, Jagatsinghpur & Sundergarh (60 each), Kendrapara (57), Nawarangpur (55), Nuapada (49), Kalahandi & Dhenkanal (37 each), Boudh (36), Kandhamal (32), Gajapati (27), Sonepur (26), Rayagada (25), Malkangiri (13) and Bolangir (10).
In last 24 hours, 11 persons died due to the disease and the total death toll reached 514.
Out of 1,09,780 cases, 80,770 people have already recovered from the disease.
At present, 28,443 active cases are there in the State.
