Odisha’s Pramod Bhagat wins Gold in Paralympics: Know his achievements

Pramod Bhagat has finally brought more glory for India. Pramod Bhagat has won the Gold Medal for India at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. Bhagat defending Great Britain’s Danielle Bethell, led the first game with 21-14. In game 2, Bhagat being quite behind, regained his confidence to lead and finally finish with 21-17.

Bhagat, World’s Number One Shuttler, defeated Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara in semi-final and entered the Men’s Singles SL3 final at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.

Bhagat’s journey begins in the year 2006 and so far, he has won many finals of reputation including the World Championships and Asian Para Games. 

Pramod Bhagat belongs to the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar. 

At an early age, he got some issues on his leg. But that could not stop him to be best in his game badminton, which is his first love as he used to say many times to media.

He is now Working Ranking – 1 in SL3 Category and won the First Paralympic Medal today, which is Gold only.
