Dhenkanal, Jan 12: Last night tension erupted in Bhuban area here when some irate locals torched an oil tanker which had caused an accident leading to the death of a youth in evening. It’s stated that on Wednesday evening, the oil tanker barged into a motorcycle at the Palas Pithia under Bhubana police limits here. Bike rider Pinku Mahapatra sustained critical injuries in the accident. He was rushed to the Bhuban Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead. The irate locals had also staged a road block on NH-53.
