Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation Board of Directors has approved the proposal of Tender for installation of as many as 4100 solar deep borewells in six districts.
The Board approved as many as 500 Solar Deep Bore wells in Kandhamal District, 600 in Mayurbhanj District, 300 in Deogarh District, 700 in Koraput District,
1000 in Nabarangpur District and 1000 in Nuapada District. The 207th Board meeting was held on Friday under the Chairmanship of Development Commissioner Anu Garg.
The board has also approved Recruitment of 261 tTechnical and non-technical personnel against sanctioned vacant posts along with the sanction of additional 4pc DA in favour of regular employees of Corporation wef July 1, 2022.
