Jane Bhi Do Yaaron actor Om Puri says good bye to his fans and friends at 66

Mumbai, Jan 6: At the age of 66, the veteran actor of Bollywood film industry Om Puri  passed away on Friday after a massive heart attack.

Sources said, on Thursday he returned from a shoot and Friday morning he was found dead at his residence. The news wad first confirmed by one of his close friend named Ashok Pandit on twitter.

Many actors and actress and his friends reached at his residence located in Andheri to pay their last tribute to the departed soul.

“OM Puri undergoing postmortem at Cooper Hospital.Will be taken to Trishul around 3 pm Funeral at Oshiwara electric crematorium around 6 pm.”- Actor Shabana Azmi tweeted.

His first film was released in 1976 named ‘Ghashiram Kotwal’ a Marathi film. The actor was also awarded with the Padma Shri award in 1990.

His latest film was ‘Ghayal Once Again’.
