Bhubaneswar, Dec 11: Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (Omfed) Managing Director Bishnupada Sethi will receive the Udyog Rattan Award in New Delhi on December 30.
The award is given for outstanding performance in the field of industrial development. Besides Sethi, the Omfed will also be conferred with Excellence Award.
The Institute of Economic Studies confers the Udyog Rattan Award and Excellence Award every year to distinguished persons for their outstanding contribution to the economic development of the country.
Sethi, who is also the secretary of Fishery and Animal Resources Development Department, has been a pioneer in developing the dairy, poultry and animal husbandry sector in Odisha.
