Malkangiri, Dec 5: Operation RK is in full force. While Maoists are observing PLGA week in the town, the District Voluntary Force (DVF) has aggravated their hunt to track down the top Maoist leader Ramakrishna aka RK, dead or alive, following a tip that the mastermind is injured is being hiding somewhere in the forest.
With all this going around the normal life in the district has come to standstill. The DVF team is thoroughly scanning the areas to find out the red rebel. The team on bikes are also keeping a close eye on the roads. With the modern armoury and training provided by the government, it is hoped that the team will hunt down the Maoists within some days, said sources.
With this operation RK on the go, the normal is disturbed, as the shops and small business houses have come to still.
