Cuttack, Nov 17: The Orissa High Court yesterday kept its verdict reserved in the case filed by the controversial young medico against self-proclaimed Odisha godman Sarathi Baba alias Santosh Raul.

It may be noted here that other co-accused persons in the case, Manjulata Swain and Subhalaxmi Pati have been released on bail by the court earlier.

Sarathi’s counsel argued before the court that Sarathi has been kept in jail for over 15 months without trial and hence he should be granted bail. In another case filed by the Crime Branch against Sarathi hearing hasn’t taken place.

The court has asked Sarathi to clarify to the court within two weeks as to who will represent his side in the case.
