Bhubaneswar: The Chairperson of the Odisha State Child Rights Protection Commission Mandakini Kar and 5 members– Sasmita Nanda, Ruby Vishal, Jalina Priyadarshini, Ravi Mahali and Anita Behera have been relieved from their posts by the State Women and Child Development Department on Thursday.
A show cause notice was issued to the Chairperson and members based on allegations made against them on November 16 last year.
Kar and other members had challenged the notice in the Orissa High Court.
After considering all the facts, the High Court had dismissed the petition.
The Department has issued an order dismissing all of them.
