Bhubaneswar, Mar 20: On Sunday the Odisha State Vigilance upon completion of its 60 years of existence, celebrated its Diamond Jubilee year by organizing massive awareness campaigns on anti-corruption themes at the Patha Utsav. To mark this victory, there was a specially designed logo with a catch line at the Utsav named “Let’s Fight Corruption”.
The Star Attraction of the day was Krishna Beura, the gifted singer from the City of Dreams, Mumbai, who is famous for classic songs like “Maula Mere” from the film Chak de India, “Rabba” (Musafir) and “Soniyo from the Heart” (Raaz-2). Popular Odia movie stars Sabyasachi and Archita participated in the function and endorsed the anti-corruption campaign. Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary R. Balakrishnan and Director Vigilance Dr. RP Shamra were also present, among others.
