Bhubaneswar: May 12: Odisha reported 10,982 fresh Covid cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 6149 people were in quarantine and rest 4833 are from local contacts, Health & Family Welfare Department said. Yesterday, it was below 10 K.
Khurda District recorded 1539 cases, followed by Sundergarh (964), Cuttack (885), Angul (539), Sambalpur (454), Bargarh (431), Balangir (426), Puri (398), Jharsuguda (380), Nuapada (378), Kalahandi (370), Jajpur (349), Nawarangpur (335), Balasore (303), Keonjhar (253), Mayurbhanj (239), Jagatsinghpur (232), Bhadrak (231), Sonepur (215), Rayagada (212), Koraput (195), Nayagarh (192), Dhenkanal (189), Boudh (180), Ganjam (177), Kendrapara (141), Kandhamal (134), Deogarh (127), Gajapati (111), Malkangiri (71) and also 332 cases detected from State Pool.
Odisha’s total tally of Covid-19 cases increased to 5,65,648 and 4,65,133 patients recovered from the infection so far.
Active cases number in the State increased to 98,230.
