Cuttack, Feb 14: Late last night, violence related to elections were witnessed at Niali constituency here as a result of which tension erupted in the Panchayat block here.
Three cars belonging to former Congress MLA, Rabi Mallick ad his two supporters were gutted in fire at Podana village under Kapasi Panchayat in Niali Block by opposition party members. It is also alleged that some members of opposition party entered into the house of Mallick and ransacked his property. One person sustained injuries during the scuffle and had to be admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital here.
