Boudh, Feb 15: Today Boudh district of Odisha was gripped in panic and tension when blank firing took place at two polling booths. A clash occurred between supporters of two Sarpanch candidates at two booth in Kasurabandha panchayat here. The incident became violent when three rounds of bullets were blank fired by one of the supporters. Six persons have stated to get injured. Due to this violent strike, voters ran away from the booth. After being informed, police reached the spot and brought the situation under control and tried to persuade the voters to cast their votes but in vain. Police forces have been deployed at the spot to avoid further untoward incident.
