Bhubaneswar: Feb 14: Re-poll is likely to be conducted at 15 booths in Cuttack district, 13 in Puri, 11 in Kendrapara and 5 in Jajpur as informed by SEC Secretary Rabindra Nath Sahu while speaking to media persons in state capital of Odisha. Group Clash, ballot box loot and poll violence happened in different parts of Odisha during voting yesterday, which led the district collectors to recommend fresh election in some booths. He further said, the date for re-poll has not been finalised yet. Taking note of the attack on a polling party while returning from the polling booth in Kendrapara district yesterday, Sahu said the Polling officials have been asked to stay in the booth after the polling till to get proper security cover. The Commission has instructed the collectors and SPs to provide adequate security cover to polling parties while returning.
