Puri, Dec 2: At last, Papu sought apology.
On his controversial statement on Lord Jagannath at the closing of Puri Beach Festivial, comedy artist Tattwa Prakash Satpathy aka Papu pom pom said, the tulsi leaves over which dogs pee are used in the rituals of the Lord, and all who utter Jay Jagannath are sinners.
This created a big issue at the spot, leading to Papu apologising on public demand.
On his controversial statement the Jagannath Sena a day later filed an FIR at the Puri Beach PS.
He was also attacked by ink while returning from a shoot near Jharpada at Bhubaneswar. And later yesterday he was attacked by tomatoes at his residence. After this humiliation finally Papu on the evening of 1st of December reached Puri to seek apology from the deity. He stood in front of the deity at the temple in Puri and sought apology from the deity.
