Paradip Murder case: 5 accused shifted to Kujang jail on rejection of bail pleas

Paradip, Nov 18: Today all the accused involved in the killing of the Seaways GM, Mahindra Swain were sent to the Kujang jail after their respective bail pleas had been rejected by the Kujang court.

It’s stated that the cops are likely to ask for a remand period for the prime accused, Rakesh Choubey and sharpshooter, Riasat Hussain for taking out more information. Yesterday the Central range Inspector General Soumendra Priyadarshi informed the media that Hussain had hurled bombs and fired the Seaways Shipping General Manager while Samin had helped Hussein in executing the plans. Shiva and Manoj Gochhayat belonging to Cuttack had also a hand in this murder case and so are also taken into custody. 

The Paradip police also seized 3 pistols, 50 live rounds, 3 bikes, an auto rickshaw, an XUV 500 bearing Jharkhand registration number, 11 cell phones, 11 bottle bombs, and some cash from the possession of five arrested persons, adding a letter written by the deceased was also seized and examined. He lastly stated that the murder was conspired after the monopoly of the stevedoring firm was challenged by another group, the IG said Jamshedpur, Kolkata and Cuttack were the places of entire conspiracy.
