Paradip Murder Case: Cancellation of firearms of OSL Chief Mahima Mishra by cops

Cuttack, Nov 15: The Police is likely to cancel Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) chief, Mahimananda Mishra aka Mahima Mishra and his son Charchit Mishra’s firearms license after his name was mentioned in an FIR related to a murder case.

It’s stated that the Jagatsinghpur police requested the Twin City Commissionerate police for the cancellation of the same. Around a fortnight ago which was two days after the murder of Mahendra Kumar Swain, the general manager of Seaways Group, police took out lookout circular against Mahima Mishra and three other officials of the stevedoring company, Basant Kumar Bal, Subash Acharya and Debi Prasad Tripathy as it suspected of their involvement.

On Oct 10, the Jagatsinghpur police sealed the bank account of OSL, personal accounts of company’s Executive Director Basant Kumar Bal, Operation Manager Subash Acharya and Senior Manager Debi Prasad Tripathy.
