Cuttack, Oct 3: Today three more politicians of the Gajapati district appeared before the Odisha Crime Branch investigation team at the State police headquarters here. They are to be interrogated relating to the mysterious death of Parala King’s former manager Anang Manjari and her three siblings. Yesterday Paralekhmundi Congress MLA, K Surya Rao, former Gajapati district BJD president Basant Das and Manoranjan Badaghar were questioned for the same. Similarly, Paralakhemundi Municipality councilor, Bibhuti Nayak and local Congress leader, Sudhi Ranjan Mahapatra had appeared before the agency on Monday. Rao, who pleaded innocence in the case, had said yesterday that he had fully cooperated with the investigation team.
The leaders who have appeared today are Gajapati district BJP President, G Ravana, Parala city Congress President, Basant Panda and former BJD councilor, Babuli Behera. Relating to the quadruple suicide case, the team had sent notices to nine persons in total and has asked them to appear for enquiry.
