Parts of Odisha to witness thunderstorms and hailstorms

Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: According to the MeT, Odisha, Weather has been dry over Odisha. Minimum temperatures observed no large change and were above normal over north coastal Odisha and normal over rest Odisha. Having clear atmosphere Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius and 16 degree Celsius respectively on Wednesday with a fog likely in the morning.

The relative humidity will be 90 percent at its maximum and 28 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On Wednesday, rainfall to occur at some parts of North Odisha and South Odisha to experience dry weather. Thunderstorms with Hailstorm likely to occur over districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Debgarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Bargarh and Angul.  On Thursday parts of both North and South Odisha would be experiencing rains. On Friday rainfall to occur at some parts of Interior Odisha whereas Coastal Odisha to experience dry weather. As per the weather forecasters, no significant change as of now.

For the farmers, weather is likely to be sunny in districts of South Odisha with light rainfall at some parts of North Odisha. The highest maximum temperature of 32.00C was recorded Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 8.60C was recorded at Angul in the plains of Odisha
