Rourkela, Mar 26: For killing friend for passing offensive comments to girlfriend, the boyfriend along with two others were arrested by the Raghunathpalli police, yesterday. The accused identified as Ajay Lohar, Rohan Mumbar and Shankar Tudu who were detained earlier by the police, were court forwarded, said sources.
Notably, Ajay asked Paklu, the deceased, out on Thursday night. He took him to a lone place in the city, where, he with the help of other two friends beat him to death.
After Paklu went missing, his family members searched for his whereabouts and later found his body in the isolated zone of the city. The kin had eventually lodged a police complaint regarding the issue. Acting on the complaint the police investigated and arrested the Trio, who later confessed of beating Paklu to death, during interrogation.
