Pilgrims evacuated from Ajmer dargah after bomb threat

Ajmer: Authorities evacuated over one lakh pilgrims from Khawaja Gharieb Nawaz in Ajmer following a bomb threat on Monday morning.

Lakhs of pilgrims were present at the 12th century shrine to observe the Islamic ritual Chatti Sharief today. All the pilgrims were evacuated from the dargah. Police searched the entire primeses to detect the explosives. However, police came to an conclusion that it was a hoax call.

High alert has been issued in the area.
